Team India wicketkeeper-batter Rishabh Pant continues to make headlines even off the cricket field. Currently in the final stages of recovery from a foot fracture sustained during the England Test series earlier this year, Pant stunned fans by showcasing his archery skills — and hitting a bullseye on his very first try.

In a video shared on social media, Pant confidently declared “bullseye” before releasing the arrow — and indeed struck the center target. Fans were quick to react, applauding his accuracy and expressing excitement about his upcoming return to cricket.

The 26-year-old has been steadily progressing through his rehabilitation program and could soon make his comeback in domestic cricket. According to BCCI sources, Pant’s final fitness assessment will take place this week at the Centre of Excellence (CoE).

“As of now, there is a likelihood he could be cleared by Oct 10. The BCCI medical team doesn’t want to take any chances,” a BCCI official told TOI.

Pant, who missed the West Indies series and the upcoming white-ball tour of Australia, had suffered a fractured metatarsal during the Manchester Test in July. What was initially considered a six-week recovery extended further when the injury aggravated after he batted the next day.

Recently, Pant shared another training video, captioned, “Got me in the corner there, but I came out with flying colours,” signaling strong progress in his fitness journey.

If cleared, Pant is expected to lead Delhi in the Ranji Trophy from October 25, before India’s home Test series against South Africa begins on November 14.

His remarkable recovery, determination, and even a surprise bullseye have left fans confident that Rishabh Pant will soon be back behind the stumps — stronger than ever.
